Sharpening Your Intuition

In the previous blog post, we discussed the importance of intuition and how it can guide us towards healing and personal growth. In this blog post, we will explore practical tips on how to keep your intuition sharp and focused.

Shift your attention inward

Take moments of pause and reflection throughout your day. Close your eyes if needed and focus on your inner world. By directing your attention inward, you create space for your inner voice to be heard.

Pay attention to sensations and emotions

Notice the sensations and emotions that arise within you. Experience them as unique sensory perceptions. If these sensations had a color, texture, movement, or shape, what would they be? Paying attention to these subtle signals can help you tap into your intuition.

Engage in inner dialogue

Treat the sensations and emotions as if they can communicate with you, like beings or entities. Ask them questions and explore their identity, purpose, message, and the truth they want you to acknowledge. Listen to the answers that come, whether as auditory input, knowing, or visual imagery. Recognise this as your inner self communicating, your inner voice responding.

Trust your intuition

There is no right or wrong approach to engaging with your inner voice. Trust your intuition and experiment with different techniques. Each person's connection with their intuition is unique, so find what works best for you.

Practise patience

If you're unsure about your inner voice's message, don't rush it. Take your time to deeply observe and listen, allowing its truth to surface. Delay decision-making, if possible, not to avoid the situation, but to make choices from a place of clarity and alignment with your whole being.

Surround yourself with supportive individuals

Create a circle of people who value and encourage your inner voice. Communicate your intentions and seek their assistance in guiding you back to your intuition whenever you may have lost touch with it. Their support can help you stay connected to your inner voice.

Remember, connecting with your intuition is like flexing a muscle. With practice and dedication, your inner voice will become louder and more accessible. Visualisation and closing your eyes won't be necessary as your intuition will speak to you in a language you fully understand, rising up from within.

Expressing your inner voice through creative outlets is also powerful. It gives permission for your intuition to become louder and breaks the cycle of suppression that may have caused it to go silent in the past.

By sharpening your intuition and actively listening to your inner voice, you can make decisions and live a life that is authentic and aligned with your true self. Embrace and trust your inner voice, for it holds the wisdom you need for your journey of healing and self-discovery.
